Has anyone used the advertising of this site? We are purchasing a mini storage facility in the Eclectic area of the lake and are checking out the different advertising possibilities. I am curious to how many people use the connections from this site.

2 years ago when the lake level was more normal, we had a rental place advertised on this site....I must have had 100 inquiries over that summer for people wanting to rent....I was very happy with the "traffic" that my advertisement generated....last year was a different story though; almost no inquiries (maybe 2). I blame the difference on the lake level -- not traffic on the website.

When I need something done at the lake this is the first place I look.

That's good. I know that the lake levels really don't effect the storage business. I would guess that rentals are up with the people trying to get their boats etc. out of the water before they sit on the ground. We're planning on getting this facility fenced and secured for this type of storage. IT has not had this in the past and I know personally that security to me is a must. : ) I think for the $ it's worth a try.

people and places I know first, but if I need something in the lake area that I have little knowledge of, or if I want more choices, this is the first place I look.

I have been an advertiser here for the past three years. I have many new and loyal customers on Lake Martin that I assume called me either because of the 'click on listing' (Cathouse Marine) or from help I have offered on the various forums. Your listing here is not expensive and will link directly to your business website if you have one. Call me a completely satisfied customer.

Steve: Did you get your seawall built yet? Toma nd I were at the Lake last weekend building a form to extend our boat ramp and were talking about your project. Earl
