From the Power Company website:
Current Lake Conditions
Date: 2/21/2008
Hour Ending: 4:00:01 PM

Lake Elevation
480.01 Feet

Yeah, I know, it is pathetic to be excited about 480, but I am. The lake finally looks normal for this time of year.

with a few heavy showers. You can see the water rising and it is great. I was able to use my boat ramp Monday and the floating dock is now starting to do just that. Full pool is on the way....I think this storm is good for well over a foot of water rise over the next week.

We got one too. Boataholic went to the lake this morning before he went to work and said the water is really coming up. We almost have water at the floating dock now!! Time to call the boat shop to come see why the boat won't run and we can get back out on the lake!

Have you moved into your house yet?

Thank you for asking. We are not quite there yet. Wishing and hoping the house will be ready around the end of March or early April. Then we still have to get moved down.

Choppa, we are also off of 20 but not as far down as you and ToTheLake/boataholic.

Thanks rude. The way the Rolls sucks gas, and 100 octane at that, it will be cheaper to have it transported.

You never realize how much junk you have until you start preparing for a move. LOL

You want to drive my lawn tractor down? I think I will actually leave it and the snow blower with the house.

good idea rude...and I volunteer to sit in the back seat of the Rolls and drink the beer feb is offering...oh wait...open container law....well they wouldn't stop a Rolls, would they?

BigFoot, You must not be familiar with British cars. They frequently stop on their own, and the police stop to see if you need assistance. You are very grateful to see the State Troope since you do need help.

It does have nice burled wood trays like in a passenger jet which drop down for the back seat passengers. Therefore, you will have a place to rest your pork rinds and beer.

Better yet, we will just take it for a spin once I get it down there.

The best advice ever received about Briytish cars was ' don't use it as your primary transportation!' Feb, let's have a caravan of two when you give BigFoot that ride!
