Anybody know someone who could put some gutters on house in area near Long Leaf?
And.....where would would you go if if you wanted to buy a Jet Ski conveniently?

Ok I responded so you have to buy my beer. I don't have any advice on gutters or jet skis, but I like free beer. WOOHOO!! Your post didn't say we had to be helpful, just to respond. Your gonna need LOTS of beer...lol.

I'd look for a good used jet-ski. Like anything, they devalue a bunch in the first few years. Check ebay, boattrader.com, and the classified on this site. I'd look for a Yamaha 3-5 years old with low hours. NADA.com can give you an idea what you should be paying. As for gutter's, I need some too. I talked to a guy out of B'ham a few years ago and I'm going to try and find his number again. I'll let you know if he works out.

I used him in 2001, but have known him for probably 20 years. When I used him he was just getting into metal roofs. I understand now his bread and butter is the roofing. Give him a call though, he is an honest guy, but I have heard he is trying to get away from the gutters because there is more money in roofing.

Just make sure the gutter have the proper slope so they drain properly. I need to call Tim and have him come out and rehang 3 gutters which are not draining properly.
My guy in Bham was cheaper, but the reason I went with Tim is that he is local and if I had issues he would not have to drive back down from Bham. Bham prices - $4.00 per foot for gutters and $3.85 for downspouts.

The price I was given was $3.00 a foot for both down spouts and gutters for 6" aluminum, but that was in May of 2006. I'm curious to see what the price is now.. The same guy installed my garage doors and did a great job.

ABACON Gutters from Birmingham installed mine three years ago. They are covered gutters and I have not had to clean or maintain in three years and if they are ever clogged, they will come unclog. Paid a little more but they are well worth it.
