I have been doing some online research on "chelation" over the past few weeks. I have started taking it today 3/27.2008, Has anyone else here taken or tried it? I have googled/read/searched and considered all or most of the information available. I want to know if you, or someone you know, has ever tried it. Does it work? What was the results? Did you/they feel better? If you want to see/read what I am talking about just google "Chelation". Now, a history lesson about me. 1year and 9 months ago, I had bypass surgery (5 of them) at 43 years old. All is fine, and I feel great. BUT, I ran across the Chelation info, and my mind started wondering. I would like to know if anyone has been associated with it, or knows any "real results" outside of the internet. I figured being that we don't have a "medical forum", this is a damm good place to start. Cats really don't have 9 lives. Regaurdles what we learned as kids. Heck, the Boat Ban lawsuit used up several anyway. LOL. but seriously. Are there any of yall out there with real info?

Thanks for the heads-up Cat. You know I had my zipper installed just a little before you did so I will " GOOGLE " Chelation ( key-la-shun ). Very interesting. Isn't GOOGLE amazing?

Cat....this chelation is really interesting. My wife had her zipper install three years ago and she's doing well. However, she has had some other problems not related to the heart. Some of the problems are discussed in the information at the "google" site. I think we're going to give this stuff a try. Which site did you order from and how many months worth did you order? I'll wait to order until I hear back from you. Thanks for bringing this info to our attention. Good health to you and your family.

I'll have to look and see where I ordered from when I get back to my office at the shop. There are so many choices, but they all make the same claims. I was thinking they were all about the same. But I will check for you. I ordered 3 months supply. I have a cardiologist apt the end of may. Maybe I can kill the treadmill/nuc. test. Those claims are pretty amazing and hard to believe. I ask my doctor (all of them) and they said they had no idea what I was talking about. I wish I knew more. Maybe someone will read these post and know something about it first hand.

you should look at the information on Wikipedia. some pro and som con.
My plan was to catch annorexia
I thought anorexia was a std, so I started hanging with skinny chicks.
I just could not catch it.
So I eat steel cut groats every day for breakfast. If you buy in bulk from a you can get a year supply for about $25.00
I don't know what my triglicerides and choleteral levels were before I started, but my total cholesteral is 121 now. And trigilcerides are low also.
In spite of that I am still trying to catch anorexia from a skinny chick
