I purchased one of those green monster fishing lights. It works great. About an hour after dark a bunch of shad showed up and then some stripers. I caught a six pounder. Early the next morning there was a 15 pounder chasing the shad. If anyone is in the market for a fishing light I highly recommend it.

Also caught some spots and crappie near some wooden boat houses. Fished in 25' to 30' of water. Marked fish anywhere from 15' to the bottom. Fished minnows at 20'. 2.5 lb spots are alot of fun on an ultra-light rod and reel.

You can buy it from Ronnie's website. He lives in Dadeville

I purchased mine on Ebay from him for $236.00. The regular price on his website is $289.00. I purchased the single light kit with the 50' foot cord.

Forget the $20/25 dollar models at BassPro and Overtons. Mine lasted 1 year and then leaked big time.
My new light seems to be working well. Can't use it on a boat at night, but it is anchored on the bottom off the dock. 50 watts, shines straight up. Works at 12vdc from the low voltage light system on the dock with timer. The light is copper, sealed, designed for use in a landscape pond. Sells for around $55 at Lowes/Home Depot.
When it comes on at dusk, minnows start coming by the thousands, then large shadows start showing up, flashing thru the edges.
