Has anyone heard about a new helicopter landing site in the LM area to be used by emergency services helos (Police/LifeFlight)??
If so please post details if available. Sure would be a blessing in case of an emergency of some kind.

The Village at Lake Martin donated the land and constructed the helicopter site. Ribbon cutting was last week, however Union Fire Department is having their dedication this suturday, May 17'th..........It is for the use of Union Fire, Stillwaters and anyother fire/ambulance department needing to use. LifeSaver helicopter will use and share transport services as needed. Pad is located on Old Tree & McCarty Roads, Dadeville or visit www.thevillageatlakemartin.net
