Anyone know where to find these two locations on the lake?

Young’s Island on the north side.

Uncle Bob’s Island in the Blue Creek area (due north from Curry’s Point.

Young’s island is up past Paces Point, go north up the main channel and when you pass Pleasure Point Marine you will see some large Islands right in the middle of the lake, the larger one on the left is Young’s. What day and time will the dogs be done?

Can't help you on the other one.

Actually the larger one on the left is Wood's Island. Young's is the one on the right, but if you just head norht up the river you will see them. The very small one in the middle of the other two is actually the best for beaching.

guess H.O.B.O.s don't care about anyone farther west than Chimney Rock or maybe the dam.

Oh really, is that an event they are involved in? Which Board members will be there, and please, please tell me what time it will be in full swing as I can't wait to attend! I'm sure everyone knows how much I love those folks! This really is shaping up to be a “GREAT WEEKEND!”

I was going to set up a third location in the Kowaliga area but I have a wedding to attend that day. I couldn't find anyone to pick up the ball and run with it, but it may not be too late if there are any volunteers.

I have now found out that the ball was picked up, but there was a problem securing a suitable location. In any event, the lack of a western lake location was not overlooked; it just didn't work out this time around.

Thanks for the correction Jalzc.......... you are right , we went all out to host on the western side and at the Goat Rock area.........but, hopefully everyone remembers this is a volunteer organization and sometimes people just cannot turn loose and actively support this activities. But, not all is lost, this is a first time activity and if it goes well we will have time to plan another one........if not.....we'll do something else. Spread the word among friends, family, neighbors and Hot Rod that we want to see them at these two locations!

Location of Uncle Bob's Island can be found as follows, if you are heading West along Blue Creek with Harbor Point Marina on your starboard side and the entrance to Chuck's Marina (Curry's Point) area coming up on your port side..........continue West across the big water and Uncle Bob's Island will be at about 2 o'clock off your bow. There are two Islands there, the first and smaller one will be the site for the cookout.
