We're so glad everyone is thrilled by the return of the goats! The 6 nannies have now been joined by a billy and another nanny. So far the new nanny and billy are rather shy and have run off somewhere on the island. We've been leaving feed (not that they don't have enough on the island!) for them so we hope the new billly and nanny will "socialize" and join the group!
Anyway, please enjoy the new arrivals, leave food (toss it) for them and please DO NOT let your dogs go ashore anywhere on the island. It goes without saying - "no guns, no hunt."
Take care of our little guys...

The one this one is talking about is on Lake Martin.

Do we have any goats on Logan?

I'm really glad they're back. I haven't been to the island in years since I no longer have a pontoon boat but it was a highlight to show visitors seeing them for the first time.

We cruised by Saturday and Sunday to see if we could spot them. Didn't see them Saturday but they were all gathered in one spot near some folks parked on the bank Sunday afternoon. It was neat to see them there again. I still miss seeing the donkey that used to be there.
