DJ: while we all understand your need/desire/obsession to chatise all things non-DJ/non-other alias' you use, we hope you find peace with yourself and with those that come in contact with you.
The forum is much more pleasant now and the tone is more in line with what Lake Martin living should be: relaxed and fun.

Are you saying you have more than one alias? That is a clear violation of the forum rules. You know, those rules you were all over people for not following. I guess those rules were only for other people. Where have I seen that attitude before?

Actually, you are seeing it, because it hasn't changed one bit.
I used to post a lot years ago...it got so lame...but yet I come back to check things out...and see the same petty bickering is still here.
Although, there is some useful info every few days or so.
And I do keep up with life on the lake.
But, as far as the name calling and other jr high school antics...it taints the place.

He is one of the five or six that I blocked and I would agree that the forum is so much more pleasant for me to visit since they put in the blocking feature. Its not that they didn't have something to offer, it was just that the negative interaction with others made it untenable so I went with the blocking approach. I am sure I miss out on some spirited (mean and otherwise) debate but I am no worse for the wear for missing it.

I think you all are a bunch of old grumpy men. Quit worrying about the comments of others and mind your own business. People should be able to say and write whatever they want. If you dont like it, block the freakin person and shut the hell up!!!!!

Don't know why you were flamed TBrown. I agree that the forum is
much better than before the new rules. So much more informative
and so much less personal issues. Thanks to all who make this
forum a better place for us to enjoy. i'm all for those who want to
be rude to use another forum
