With the rainfall forecast by NOAA linked bekow, does anybody know if APC will try to hold what they get, or release some in case this projection comes to be.

see lakes.alabamapower.com they will hold. no releases until tuesday and then just 1 for 3 hours.

I would think it would cause flooding downstream since more rain fell to the south of LM

The last time I saw the weather on channel 8, there were several green counties in south Alabama indicating some kind of flood watch, so APCo will probably have to sit on all of that water for a little while until it is safe to release it downstream. Besides, if they hold at least some of it back, then they can make some money generating electricity with it.
