OK. Iv'e been dog cussing Charter of late...but I just hooked up my Charter 14.99 Internet service and every person I talked to was nice and helpful. They even told me it was good for a year instead of 6 months...we'll see. It seems to work well...been able to connect to work and everything else. I'm actually pleased at this point. Nice to be connect at a decent speed. Even set up a wireless network...that's nice too.

I'm glad that someone is happy with Charter. I have been without internet since 03AUG and finally got it fixed last night. We got the run around for 3 1/2 weeks--we showed up 6 differnet times for appointments but they never showed. They would come out and tell us that someone else would need to come out and finish the job. Finally, a man actually came out yesterday and we told him what the problem was--we needed a new line from the house to the pole. He told my husband that it wasn't his job. That was another crews responsibility. Well, my husband was parked behind him so he couldn't leave until he ran a line from the house to the pole. Guess what-- a line was run and the problem was fixed. It took 2 1/2 hours. Everything ended up okay but its frustrating to have no other options here on the lake!!

great tactic...box them in. I have had more bad service than good...but every now and then you get someone that is pretty good. My last call to them was for simple routine tasks,

Well, we may have "accidently" boxed him but but he "accidently" disconnected our neighbors cable service. Our neighbors showed up yesterday about noon and asked if we knew why their service had been disconnected. I told them our nightmare story and we figured that the cable guy shut them off accidently whiel he fixed my internet. However, our neighbors did get Charter out here last night at 1735 and they hooked them back up. Everyone is happy and we all got to see our teams win---GO DAWGS!! WAR EAGLE!!! ROLL TIDE!!!
