Complaints about big boats (huge), complaints about smaller boats. The one described on Sandy Creek I have seen, and is probably about 24' LOA. Simple solution was to ban the big boats, and occupy the MP with trying to enforce a nightmare law .... glad all are happy now. Or... maybe it was the operator all the time....

I don't like the big boat waves.....most of the time. However, if I turn into one j u s t right and swing that innertube across it, I can launch my teenager one time and be done for the day.

LMAO, that's one way to look at it. I had wanted to come to Lake Martin this weekend and visit some of yall in my new boat. Things just did'nt work out and we did not make it. I would like to see the tube launch. LOL

I like that.... Less wake from boats trying to twist and turn to let the kids have fun, less danger, because too often the driver of the boat is distracted trying to find just the right wake, and think of all the gas you save. Call AlGor - this should be law!

Awwww....come on now. Have you ever tried to make a wake on a pontoon boat. It just won't happen. Now, I've never once been distracted while pulling a skier. Matter of fact, other boats, water hazards are my main focus. Probably more focused on safety here (except for the bones of the child..hehe) than any other time. Anyone not knowing how to safely boat can call me. I've had years of experience and fun and never hurt anyone.

Hate to say it Nest, but you are not in the majority. My father taught me boat handling and RESPECT when I was in my early teens; unfortunately, most people were not so lucky. I hope your phone rings off the hook. :-)

Now you are talking about my specialty........giving teenage boys something to talk about on the deck of the lake house. It isn't about speed but the quality of the wake and the timing of the launch. I have a 26' deck boat that I can tell you other boats and jet skis love to be around when I am pulling a tube. I can make boys scream, girls cry and all beg for mercy. They may have taken prayer out of schools but on my tube there will always be prayer. One of my joys in life is when I go to visit our kids school and have all their friends come up and all they want to talk about was when I "killed them" on the Bonzai.

Having said that, I tend to move around the Sandy Creek area and not stay in one place for too long. Don't want to wear out my welcome or be too much of a nuisance.

My 21 year old son said this past weekend he hit a combo wake caused by two plowing cruisers going in opposite directions in the main channel near near the power lines in the Waverunner. Launched him at least 4-5 feet in the air. He told me he received a standing "O" from the passengers afterward.

I may have to come and let you pull me. See, I don't trust the 18 yr old after what I've done to him. I'm 43 and could very well break some bones and I know he'd try to break them too.
