McCain, having been born in the (Panama) Canal Zone, will if elected become the first president who was born outside the current 50 states. This raises a potential legal issue, since the United States Constitution requires the president to be a natural-born citizen of the United States. A bipartisan legal review and a unanimous Senate resolution both concluded that he is a natural-born citizen, but the matter is still a subject of some legal controversy.
Obama was born in Hawaii.

So what you are saying is that if your father serves the country in the military and you are outside the United States when you are born then you are ineligible to be President of the United States. You must be very proud of yourself for that one. Why stop there, he's also pretty old so maybe once you reach a certain age you are no longer eligible to be President. Then if liberals could really have their way, no conservatives would be eligible to run for office or even vote........you guys are too much......in a bad way.
If you don't agree with McCain and his politics how about the novel idea of entering the arena of ideas, logic and candor instead of this inane silliness. Then again, I do understand because liberalism cannot exist in the arena of ideas and logic so you have to appeal to emotion or put forth detestable ideas like the above.

Yes I was on the lake and bought a place over 10 years ago ... but it was not Ridge. You are so lame ... I fully understand your political choices now. You have class envy ... it is so obvious. Not my fault you did not make anything of your life ... but that does not mean you are entitled to mine because I was (and others).
You are like the people in Ohio I am seeing on the news with every other tooth missing that are druming up homeless people and taking them to register and vote at the same time. The reporter asked are you telling them who to vote for (illegal by the way) and she says .... yes, I tell them to vote for Obama, he will help you. The reporter asks what do you like about Obama ... she says Obama, he is going to change things. The reporter ... what sort of things is he going to change that you like .... she says I don't know, but Obama he going to change things.
I am sure you are proud that is the type of people you align with. I tell them vote for Obama.

I was just stating a fact. To be President you must be a natural- born citizen not just have citizenship.
I have all the respect for John McCain and his service to our country just not his policies. I volunteered and proudly served our country in the Coast Guard.
Despite widespread popular belief, U.S. military installations abroad and U.S. diplomatic or consular facilities are not part of the United States within the meaning of the 14th Amendment.
A child born on the premises of such a facility is not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States and does not acquire U.S. citizenship by reason of birth.
US military bases are foreign territory where all the local laws apply. The status of Americans stationed on those bases is governed by a diplomatic agreement called a Status of Forces Agreement.
When a child is born on a US base with one or more American parents the parent(s) must file all applicable paperwork with the US embassy to get the child's American citizenship recognized.
McCain’s citizenship was established by statutes covering the offspring of Americans abroad and laws specific to the Canal Zone as Congress realized that Americans would be living and working in the area for extended periods. However, whether he qualifies as natural-born has been a topic with some declaring him ineligible while others assert that he meets all the basic constitutional qualifications — a natural-born citizen at least 35 years of age with 14 years of residence.
The Panama Canal Zone was American territory until it was returned to Panama.

Construction on The Ridge began well over a decade ago, and it was "open for business" (which in this sense means that lots became available) in June, 1999. If you want to go by the absolute, by-the-book strictest definition, that was not 9.5 years ago; it was 9 years, four months and five days ago.... close enough to "9.5" for just about anybody.
However, if you recognize only the strictest of definitions, please stop posting your half-truths, innuendos and blatant lies. Don't expect others to toe a line you repeatedly ignore.

He didn't say he had LIVED there for 9 1/2 years, he said he BOUGHT HIS LOT 9 1/2 years ago. Buying a lot and living on it are not the same thing. The very fact that you feel the need to purposely put words in his mouth-- in essence, you openly lie about what he said-- is proof enough that you know you are wrong.
As for lots not being made available for sale until 2001, you must be talking about Phase 2 lots, not Phase 1. Do you really think a dodge like that is going to go unnoticed?

Obviously, lots WERE being sold in The Ridge as early as August 1999, and not until 2001 as you earlier stated.

Why would i try to explain ANYTHING to you when you demonstrate you understand nothing about real world issues that matter. You defend an individual that can be defended and has demonstrated he and his wife have no respect for this country.
