First there was Troopergate and now this:
ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Gov. Sarah Palin charged the state for her children to travel with her, including to events where they were not invited, and later amended expense reports to specify that they were on official business.
Guess she decided to amend it after he was selected as the REFORMER.

First it was she should be diqualifed because she has children and when that backfired, now you want to put her down for taking her children with her on her travels. Hmmmm......
Now lets watch and see what other politicians take their children with them on trips. At least she hasn't paraded them out to the press to pimp out, err, I mean interview with the freindly media.

GF, lets examine all the politicians that have their family members on the payroll, including Mr. Biden. Who cares if she takes her family on business trips? Clinton took Hillary everywhere, where were the complaints then? Come on, you have to do better than this? Do you think this resonates with anyone other than them saying, "What a dedicated Mom who has a demanding job and tries to spend time with her family." My goodness....

You forgot to take in to account that she got rid of the plane and drives her car back and forth to work every day as gov. without all the bells and whistle expenses on the state. She is the most popular gov. Alaska has ever had. It obviously did not bother them that she is a responsible mother trying to do a good job for the people. If it does not bother them, then it shouldn't bother you. Just another one of those valueless jabs you mentioned earlier.

I do not question taking the children on official trips. I admire her for doing that. I took mine on busienss trips but the line is you pay for their expenses. It is NOT a deductible expense. Why did she amend her forms??? That's the issue.

Spending records filed with the Federal Election Commission show the RNC paid for "campaign accessories" for Missy Palin from upscale department stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, where nearly $50,000 was spent, Neiman Marcus, $75,000, and $4,700 for hair and makeup for a total of $150,000.
I wonder what Joe The Plumber thinks of this or is it just anther case of class envy. It doesn't look too good with all the economic problems that people are suffering. Kinda like John Edwards spending $400 on a haircut.

Why don't you do a little research and see what the DNC has spent on your Chosen One's campain expenses?? Clothes, food, lodging, etc...
I bet they ain't staying at Motel 6 and eating sardines and crackers.

I don't doubt that each party spends money for planes, motels, and food, However, I see McCain, Obama, and Biden wearing the same suits every day. You may not like the truth but it is the truth. To suggest that I spew vomit shows that the truth hurts. Be a man and admit when the Right is wrong. Can you justify spending $150,000 on a wardrobe, hair, and lipstick?

Martini, it is all over the news. The info was taken from the RNC report of campaign expenses. One would think she could have borrowed some of Cindy's cloths for the next few weeks. The RNC has stated that they plan to donate the cloths to charity after the election.

The one's wife was in the waldorf astoria while the chosen one was givig a speech. She ordered room service: 2 lobster, champagne, IRANIAN CAVIAR, steak, and I forget what other ammenities were on the bill. Wonder if she donated any of that to charity when she was done? And BTW- all of the one's suits are custom made, no off the rack for the messiah. And if you think they wear the same suit everyday, you are even more stupid than your posts make you seem, and that is pretty dang stupid. For future reference, same color doesn't mean same suit.

Someone goes shopping and a store is able to remain open, employees still have a job, the truck driver has goods to deliver, the fuel guy has to supply fuel to the trucking company, the factory worker/designer what ever has a job because there is a demand for the product, the cleaning company still has a store that needs servicing.The bag company still has a demand for their bags, The power company, phone have a customer using their services, the computer programer still has a customer, the accountant still has someone who needs book work, The shoe company still helps provide with all the above times two, the hair dresser still has a customer, the makeup artist and makeup company still provide the same as above. I call this stimulating the economy and a good day for a woman! And just think, my next VP helped with all of this! SP 4 VP
