Its always a scary thought, but.....

Nauti-Minded was roundly criticized by almost everyone for what was considered to be a racist joke.

Yet GoneFishin made an equally egregious and sexist referral to "Missy Sarah".

Why didn't he/she get called to task for that?

In no way do I find Nauti-Minded's joke appropriate, but it surely does look like we have a double standard at work here.

I think it is quite a stetch to equate Nautiminded's use of the 6 letter N word to my pet name of Missy Sarah for Governor Palin. Do you have any issue with Rush Limbough's reference to her as the BABE???

but I would say that GF is just disrespectful and demeaning of a very accomplished person simply because he doesn't like her politics.

However, the joke repeated on the forum was offensive and should never have been posted.
