for our future. Many Democrats in Congress are like a kid that knows about a surprise birthday party for their mother, "they can't keep their mouth shut" and I am confident that BO and the DNC wish they would. Yesterday it was Congressman Barney Frank's turn when he called for a 25% cut in military spending. Add that to BO's failure to provide information, Biden's loose lips, Murtha's statements about his district, and Pelosi's continued promises. Oh well, get the message!!! As I said in the subject, I am not scared but am very cocerned if this trifecta comes about on November 4th. They will not wait until January.

So, to apply your observation equally, you then must admit that everything Obama says is political posturing for those back home, but in this case home is the entire country.

I wasn't thinking of the Presidential candidates specifically, but I think that Presidential candidates to tend to play to their audience, just like any other politician including John McCain. Do you believe absolutely everything you hear during a Presidential campaign?

Ever watch CSPAN when those Congressman and Senators are up there making an impassioned speech about this or the other thing. Usually, there are very few other people in the room. they have to schedule floor time. The tapes are generally for the consumption of the folks back home.

That's where we differ. I never claimed to support John McCain simply because of his "vision for the future" as you did in your support for Obama. I support John McCain because of his demonstrated zeal, over years of service, for doing not what is politically expedient, but what is best for the country. Can't say the same for your candidate. Can you?

Said differently, please tell me what Barack Obama has DONE, NOT SAID, that might give credence to his "vision".

Might be a good time to repeat a post I made October 6th. "My purpose . . was to get people to NOT THINK about what politicians SAY they will do but to look at WHAT they have done and WHO has been their supporters and associates in the past. THIS WILL NOT CHANGE when they are elected. My other intent was to get voters to also apply this decision process to other elections, ESPECIALLY THE STATE COURT JUDGES AND CONGRESSIONAL RACES.."

Now why do you ask her such hard questions. That is totally unfair, you know she can not answer that because there is nothing he has actually done or accomplished. Oh, yes there is, my mistake .... he did train Acorn employees and he did sue CitiBank because they were not giving their fair share of sub prime mortgages.

It may not be much, but it is something .... if you are a liberal that is something to hang your hat on.

They will most likely get their wish, we survived 4 years of Jimmy Carter ... hopefully we survive this. My fear is we will not. People are going to wake up and realize what a terrible thing they did and it is going to be a disaster.
