McCain supporters take heart. In early voting in Florida registered Democrats have outvoted Republicans 2:1 but McCain is leading 49-45 (Bloomberg/LA Times poll). Democrats are coming out in droves for McCain in Florida so far. In addition, Republicans lead Democrats 50%/30% of the absentee ballots so his lead so far is likely higher.

Those droves of folks I saw voting today in Montgomery weren't voting for McCain. Need to encourage his supporters to vote here in Alabama.

I wasn't aware of early voting in Alabama?

Absentee balloting - Alabama law allows requests up to five calendar days before an election - in Montgomery you can go to the voting center at the Cort House Annex today before 5 PM, turn in an absentee ballot request, and as soon as they check their records and validate that you are a registered voter, they will give you a ballot and two envelopes. Took about 20 minute to get the ballot, about 2 to fill it in, seal it, and fill out the afadavit on the outer envelope. They do the witnessing for you.

As a Caucasian I was definitely the minority.

"As a Caucasian I was definitely the minority."
Of course, in Montgomery, we are the minority. Thanks Bobby Bright!

Long lines in Atlanta, long lines in Montgomery, long lines in DC. Of course we are in the minority as we have jobs and can't get there until Tuesday.

You know, I actually think that Bobby Bright has been good for Montgomery. Why? Because he represents a gradual transition from the Folmar way of running a city to what you and I know will eventually come to be - a black mayor. It is inevitable. You might not like Bright's politics (I don't), but just maybe he is preparing the city for a responsible and honest black successor.

Just look around at some of the other cities in Alabama with black "leadership". Can you spell bankruptcy and corruption?

Gee, GF, I know Denver is in the Wild West, but even in Denver they have Internet.

Sorry if you can't handle logic and reason.......and that you have none to back up your assertions.

CHANGE....be careful what you ask for. You might get it and you might not like it.

So how much more money will you get under Obama? And how much of it will you deserve or have earned?

FOR ONCE ANSWER THE DANM QUESTION!

Mr Hodja. You make me laugh. Keep on going after GoneFishin from your side and I'll keep on him from over here. Maybe there is hope for him.

It's unbelievable to me that with all of the proof, evidence, and truth that is out there about B.O. and people like GF continue to look only through their own little window at the glorious world that B.O. is simply going to hand them because he is just simply that great of a man.

Safe travels to Denver good sir ! I am heading out there in 3 weeks.

GO McCAIN ! ! ! ! ! !

Actually, to answer your question, it will cost me some money. Guess that means more tax free bonds. Even the Left uses loopholes.

There's hope after all. Thanks for the answer.

Of course now Bill Richardson has defined rich as $120K. First thing you know burger flippers are going to be classed as rich and have their taxes increased as well...Shucks at the $120K definition I might even get the chance to be patriotic.....
