That's cool and I'm pi$$ed......you just cost me some money because now I want one!! I just did a search on home wx stations and I guess I have much research to do. I just found info on the Vantage 2 with a storm surge addition that looks like a lot of fun and fairly advanced. Are you really into this? Anyone else? Any suggestions?

I have been a weather nut for most of my adult life .Ihave had a weather station in the past,but lighting got it,
so i recently got the Davis vantage pro 2 with the WeatherLink softwear to put it the computer and web.
Interesting and fun,for me anyway.I have been keeping a rain record since 1989.

I have an Acurite system. Would like to move up but priorities say not yet. Have you considered joining Cocorahs? I am Station AL-TP-13.

Nice to meet you. Wondered who had that station. I've been comparing our two readings. I am in on the lake in Still Waters. Noticed we are usually a few degrees different most days. I recorded 4.27" rain in December whereas you had 5.38". Hopefully in a few months after we complete the updates at our office I can get a better system and go online.

That looks like a very nice personal wx station from what I can tell online. I guess I'm getting old and slow with technology, because I had no idea something like that was available for a reasonable price. An in-depth knowledge of weather is part of my profession, but I get needed information form the government and my company. Having my own wx station may not do me much good at work, but it would be great entertainment; especially with Internet software.....this has definately been added to my "things I'd like to have" list.
