You are so right, but I suspect that the "deferral" part might not be delayed very much.
It is also an outright SHAME on some of the major business institutions in this country and the United States Government Agencies charged with oversight to prevent it.
There is no "Accountability", to stockholders, employees, voters, anybody, including Congress. Where will the first $350B be spent????????????? Nobody knows.

Yes, the ECONOMY needs to recover, and it inevitably will recover over time. At a huge cost to taxpayers who did not cause the problem, but will pay the penalty.

SHAME on Banks, Autos, Airlines, etc for taking so much risk with OUR MONEY.
SHAME on Government Oversight for not seeing the collapse.
SHAME on US if we do not DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY for $1T plus of our taxes to be spent blindly, and demand that it not happen again.

AHHH Crap. The giy who bailed out of his plane should have waited a while. He could have gotten enough to "Bailout" his fraud.

I think Obama is going to have a problem with Pelosi. And Reid has already said that he works with Obama not FOR Obama. And the Republicans on the Hill already have their hackles up about the bill.
It's stacking up to be another do nothing Congress. So much for reaching across the aisle. Got to get support for those term limits.

I heard the Dems are talking about repealing the 22th amendment. Which limits the President to two terms.
They think they can keep O in there forever.
