Note the following facts. What if this statistic could also be said of Atlanta, NY Citr, Detroit, Philadelphia, and other major American Cities?
From the L. A. Times
1. 40% of all workers in L. A. County ( L. A. County has 10.2 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants working without a green card.
2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.
3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.
4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal , whose births were paid for by taxpayers.
5. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally
6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.
7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.
8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.
9. 21 radio stations in L. A. are Spanish speaking.
10. In L. A... Coun ty 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9 million speak Spanish.

Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare. Over 70% of the United States ' annual population growth(and over 90% of California , Florida , and New York ) results from immigration. 29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

Scary and Nuts.
I don't like putting burdens on businesses, but penalties for hiring illegals is the only way to stop it. The business makes out by hiring the illegal since if they pay in cash, they do not pay the matching taxes for SS & medicare, yet get to draw from the system if the become legal even when they never paid in.
When we need labor, there can be relaxed rules, but in the current economic state and citizens needing jobs, they need to crack down.

Only by putting the onus on business can you really affect any controls. No job = no stay. I don't see any other way to accomplish this without a large increase of gov't employees.

How about this?
Get Hillary/BO to ANNEX Mexico?? Yep, as the next state, maybe two? Use the USCG, Border Patrol, Navy SEALS, USMC etc as needed. Don't delete yet.
- Give China 60 days to remove all assets from Mexico
- Give drug cartels 60 days to remove all pipelines from/into Mexico
- Give the Mexican Government 60 days to clean out their Private bank accounts
- Designate Lou Holtz/Mike Ditka/George Patton/Bill Gates/etc as Governor.
- Divert most of the$Billions of Foreign Aid UNACCOUNTED for in other nations to Mexico, a bordering country where it can make a difference to us.
- Appropriate the Mexican OIl cartel. And tell Chavez to stick it!
Yeah, I know, pretty radical. But, the Mexican Immigration problem is not going away with a new border fence or sporatic punishment of employers. As long as there is such a drastic difference in quality of living along our borders, there will be problems like these.
The history of the U.S. is continuing, the escape from political, religious, and economic persecution. This, in itself, defines us. We'll deal with it, I hope.
So, take over Mexico. Rebuild it like we have done in VietNam, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc, etc.
Give those WetBacks a reason not to make the swim?? Make them part of the solution?

As a small business owner, I tend to agree with placing the responsibility on the hiring business. I disagree with the feds telling us that we must accept, without challenge, any A/B/C listed document. I was a 10 year General Manager for the worlds largest retailer, and, remember well the 1998 settlement with Justice because we challenged fraudulent documents presented for I9 certification. That said, ATF and DEA should be consolidated under ICE. Put these oversized federal agencies to work protecting the borders. Leave the domestic tranquility to state and local authorities.

The problem is false identification. There are a few place and people around this country that work in the government positions. They take cash under the table for REAL drivers license and the social security cards are coming off the press of "dead social security numbers" or "Stolen Social security numbers. I have found the only true way for me to screen is to run a credit check along with a social security trace. This will give me the name, age, sex, and state in which the social security was issued. IT's easy to spot when the person is male and 40's and the social is to a girl in texas that just turned 20. It cost me an additional $3 for the trace, but it is worth it to me in my screening process to know who I have renting from me.
I feel that each person/company in the position should make it their personal goal to protect the values of what this country was built upon. A due process. I do not want the government telling me what to do and I'm just about fed up with government in general.
There is a small airport in Arizona where an employee is taking $5000 for a drivers license and a passport along with a flight to another state for illegal aliens. I have not heard of the bust, but I have heard of the services being offered to illegals from mexico.
BUT the depressions we are heading into may force many back to their home countries because they cant make it here due to the squeeze on jobs. People will start ratting out their employers when their legal friends cant get the jobs over illegals. FACT. It's a matter of time!
