For those of you not at the lake, just thought you'd want to know that this mornings sunrise was a deep pink/purple, and it reflected in the water. And the birds were all singing in the trees when I went out to fill the bird feeders.
It really is heaven here.

Yes it is and "ain't it great". Have you seen any martins yet; we have not on the SW side of the lake. Have a glorious day; it should just get better the rest of the week.

I always have my first and sometimes second cup of coffee on the deck. Might be cold, rainy, etc, but I enjoy those minutes so much. Watching the wildlife, our pets, fish jump. Not a better way to start the day.

Now I am MAD at you, politics is one thing, but rubbing that sunrise in… come on. Now the Boss tells me that we will be visiting family, and not be at the lake this weekend, so hope you guys enjoy it. Come on Spring.

You are killing me with this post. I'm glad you are enjoying the lake. The view of the traffic on the way to work and the computer screen in my office just doesn't quite measure up to your view. Sigh.........again........

Wow Hound, like this post and topic much more the other stuff.. Have enjoyed 2 beautiful sunrises in the last 2 days over the lake from the deck, coffee in hand.. I'm on a serious purple martin watch.. Houses are up, first scout arrived on the 1st of March last year, posted a picture in Lake Magazine.. wonderful colonies in both houses.. Come on spring, crappie low level light is on in the freezer.. regards
