Is anybody actually at the lake and can tell me about how high the water is? Do I need to come get boats out of the boathouse?

Not yet. They have been generating like crazy in anticipation of the rain and the lake level is actually down about five inches.

Bets way to know the level is to go to the Alabama Power web site. URL is below.

The lake is still nearly 2ft below full. We are talking 5 inches of rain over 3-4 days. I will say it again just because I know it bothers so many folks here, APCO is very competent at managing the lake level.

The Best way to get the lake level is to look out the window. :<)

Eastbrook Super Foods? Have you ever tried fishing in that big ditch that runs next to Coliseum Blvd.?

About all one would catch would be old tennis shoes and "previously loved STD protection devices".

And after that post I realized how badly I had dated myself. Eastbrook Super Foods has been Oak Tree Foods for quite a few years now. When I started working at my present office location the place was owned by Tom Callander.....

Cheers - I think this morning the ditch will be pretty full.
