From the APC website

Take Notice: Due to elevated inflows, rising lake levels and forecast rainfall, one spill gate was opened at approximately 7 p.m. and a second gate will be opened at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2009. Conditions may warrant opening more gates into the night and weekend. Be alert to possible changing conditions.

Easiest way would be to email them to Bruce. His email address is webmaster@sunsphere.net

Congrats! Yes, the webmaster puts them into categories or starts a new one like he did for the Parker Creek fire I put up this week.

Thanks for posting. We went riding this afternoon to see what it looked like but couldn't get the view that you show in the photos. Thanks again!

Sorry, I have not been on the lookout. I assign photos to the gallery after reviewing them. I've posted them.

We went by this morning and saw the deer. Something had chased it over the retaining wall and it fell 20 feet to the concrete. It was sad and the dam attendant was trying to find someone that could do something and was having no success. If they would open one of the gates on that end it might wash the deer into the river. It was quite sad.\

By the way, that second picture is not Martin Dam - right?

I have some pics and will email them to Bruce if he wants to add them.

I took my wife and son on a tour of the bottom side of the dam today. The view from the rock at the end of the little dirt road on the east side of the river was truly awesome. It was tough to get there but well worth the view!

I passed by Thurlow and Yates Dam's yesterday. They both look like Niagra Falls. Flood gates open to the max. The Tallapoosa will be out of it's banks soon if not already.
