All help is welcomed.

I don't know anything about them, but I remember others testifying on the forum as to the G3 being a good value....you may want to do a search of prior posts.

I did months of research before buying my G3. Best boat for the value. I bought the 22' tritoon with the 150. Will run close to 40 if you really need to go that fast, and pulls skiers with ease. A year later my best friend traded up and went through the same research I did and he ended up with the G3 too. I suggest pricing between Mim's Marine and Wedowwee Marine for best pricing. Both deliver to the lake for free. Also, anything over 150hp may not be needed, most of the money is in the motor. I had also looked at the 25', but after sitting in the 22' it was plenty big enough. Hope that helps.

Do you mind my asking what kind of price are they quoting you? I am not in the market but my brother in law is. I know probably don't want to post it on the forum...but if you could email it to me that would be great..thanks in advance.

Just bought a G3 22ft tritoon from Wedowee Marine last month. Have been very pleased so far.

If, i may ask what did you get did you stay with a 150hp? To the person who posted about the boat running around 40mhp with a 150hp on a 22'. If I may ask how many people would you say you have on the boat when running this fast. My problem is we have kids and the kids want to bring along everyone they can, so if I have 9 to 10 people on a 22' with a 150hp I don't think we are going to be running that fast.

I hunted a long time before I bought my pontoon. I bought a used 2006 tritoon Harris with a 150 Mercury Verado 24 feet long.

Wide open it tops out at about 36-37mph...and will do that with quite a few people on board. I pulled up my 270 pound brother inlaw on two skis no problem. Pulled a 200 pound slalomer no problem. The 4 strokes seem to have a lot of reserve power.

I am very happy I got the 24 instead of the 22. My seating capacity is like 17 and with kids and kids friends it's pretty easy to get to that number.

I have an 07 G3 SunCatcher 22' tri with a 125 yamaha. With me, the wife and the dog and a full cooler, 33-35 is the best it will do and that is pegged out. Full crew brings it down to 23-25 cruising. If you like to cruise at more than 30, go with the 200. As for value, cannot be beat. Good luck.

How much were they willing to deal, I am talking with 2 different places, one in Al the other in TN. I think I can get the best deal in TN the AL people don't seem to want to do any dealing?

Give Phil Singleton @ Montgomery Marine a call @ 334-514-0211 in Montgomery, Alabama. Guarantee he will beat the prices around the lake. Located on 231 North between Montgomery and Wetumpka. Nice honest fellow. Been dealing with him more or less for over 15 years.
