Just wanted to let anyone who's interested know that Chuck's Marina is serving Pizza on the weekends, Saturday's 11am to 9pm and Sundays 11am to 6pm. Not sure about the bar but you can always buy drinks in the store and sit on the patio with your pizza. I know I'm looking forward to it!

Yippee !!! Can't wait, nothing like a boat ride to chucks to fill up on pizza then a slow cruise back while watching the sunset.

$25.00 pizza ? horrrible service ? rude employees ? & dirty tables--not me--ever again; the most over rated place on earth

I hear my mother saying to you"don't say anything at all if you can't say something nice." I would suggest you give it another shot. I have always had a good experience at Chuck's. Maybe you came on a day that was crowded, the ABC board was there on their backs and people were not following the rules by bringing their own beers on the premises! The Hangover is a killer sandwich if you didn't care for the pizza.

Bamadum has nothing good to say about anything that is not RUSSELL. Only RL projects, bussiness, and developments are good, everything else is just tolerated for now.....

Been going to Chuck's for years and never had an issue, other than waiting for a boat slip when they are really busy. It's great pizza and I am willing to pay a little more to have that service on the lake. We usually put the top up on the boat to eat and consume our beverages on board.

Bamaalum, I don't see how anyone could complain about the $25 pizza... (have you ate anywhere else on the lake for under that?) it's a beautiful view. The service has always been good with us, but maybe it depends on the attitude you have when you get there. It's not McDonalds so remember it is made to order so there is a wait. But maybe you could call ahead though.. worth a shot anyways.

bamalum, if you had bad service at Chuck's did you tell anyone in management? As for the $25.00 pizza, have you had any experience in operating a business on the lake? What it costs in taxes, insurance, utilties, etc? Give em a break, they're good people who give a WHOLE bunch to the community. Seems from the previous posts here you are in the minority, thank goodness!
To everyone else, see you at CHUCK's!

To quote you BamaAlum regarding my Sinclair Post:

"did it ever occur to you to go ask for the manager--duh ? "

Might want to take your own advice, as Greg (think that is his name) the owner from what I have heard is the type of person that will not only bend over backwards to service his customers, but also will go out of his way to help anyone that asks for his assistance no matter what the issue is.

well, i certainly kicked some tires ! i tried to be fair in my assessment--visited there twice last year--did talk to managetr once--dont think he was owner-they made no attempts to clean off table, & staff was rude-seems if they were only interested in attending to the beer drinking crowd there-not families with kids-maybe i caught them on a bad day-or make that 2 bad days--might try again--maybe you guys wouldnt be so rough on me except i go by 'bamaalum'--by the way, got mba at AU !!

I don't know first hand, because I never waited tables, however, I have been told by many waitresses, that families with children are the most work and the worst tippers. At many resturants, the wait person has to clean up the mess that the his/her party made. Including all of the food that kids slop on the floor and throw around the room. In addition they say that mothers are the most demanding patrons, with the exception of groups of old ladies that want to split the check 10 ways.

I don't blame them, who wants to clean up the mess and put up with whiney children and their parents who are ticked off because they have had to ride them around the lake and would really like to be part of the beer drinking crowd instead of a slave the the little smartmouth whiney brats.

PEOPLE SHOULD LEARN FROM THEIR PARENTS MISTAKES.

Is this your way of venting because you have never gotten another human being to procreate with you.

I wasn't one of my parents mistakes, apparently you were!

Anonymity makes for a source of hurt feelings. Sounds like your kids probably clean after themselves. and any teenager these days that doesn't drink or do drugs has done a great job. I agree about the change of name. War Eagle!

And you guys think "would I say this to his face?" before you open that pie hole!
