Good morning Running Girl Half Marathon. I started this 10K three years ago. I use to run the Atlanta Peachtree 10K Roadrace for many years. Then I purchased a weekend home on Lake Martin and I would rather be at the lake on the 4th. I missed doing a race on the 4th. So I laid out the 10K course and invited anyone that wanted to run to join me on the 4th. However, you're the first to respond with an offer to either help or run. I have a 6.2 mile course laid out that starts on the northeast side of Dadeville and ends at my driveway on Tessie Road in the Sandy Creek area. Each mile is marked and if anyone joins me, I will put out bottles of water at each mile marker. My non-running wife takes me to the start at 6:30am (the Peachtree Roadrace starts at 7:30am eastern day light saving time in Atlanta)and I want to start at the same time they start. Since I've been the only runner, I have won the race every year. I would be pleased if you join me this year. We will have refreshments (adult beverages and maybe some babyback ribs)after the race. Please let me know what you think.

I've had several runners from Stillwaters that want in.
They also want to know the course.
I'm going to be back at the lake on June 11.
Do you want me to put flyers in the grocery stores or keep this just to the forum group?
