General Motors issued private offers to some current GM owners and others. They are stackable with most if not ALL other cash back offers and incentives. Normally you can't stack many incentives. I've never seen them this high before. Yall cross your fingers and hope new vehicle sales will begin to return to a more normal level. Yall know I work at Chevy in Wetumpka. Maybe this is "Stimulas money" trickling down? On another positive note, credit markets that we use are easing up just a bit, compared to a few months ago. Maybe that will help as well. I like hearing and reading somewhat positive news in these times. Hopeful thinking on my part anyway.

It's a great time to buy a car if you need one. I think the government has pretty well made it clear that they aren't going to let GM go out of business, so I think that will bring the consumer confidence back. Sending positive thoughts your way.

It's not too late. Stocks are so cheap right now. You will make money as long as the company you pick survives. People are too gun shy about the market after the past year. Now is the time to invest.

It would be easy for someone who said they made 140% to say now is the time to dive back in the market. You were lucky. Most people I know have lost thousands in the last several months.One of my good friends lost $300,000. Tell him to get back in and see what he tells you. The bear is still there. This is only my opinion just like your statement. I think we have not got anywhere near the bottom yet. Our government has only delayed things. I am staying on sideline and probably will for the rest of my life. I will just try to keep what I have saved. I have much better blood pressure that way. Cobra
