Been using this place since I've been here. Not knocking "salons", but I prefer a barbershop.

Problem is he is hardly ever there, especially since his dad died. I started going down the road a couple of miles to the City Limits Cafe on 49. It is on the left a little past APCO. Misty does a great job and the neck massage she gives with every haircut is worth the $12. She uses hot lather and a straight razor on the neck then a hot towel to boot. Best haircuts I have had in years!!

I recall the warm lather and razor blade trimming of the neck.
I still would rather go to Rod's. This is not a sexist statement, but I prefer the conversations we are more likely to have, and do not care for the odor of a salon.
Rod is a one person shop, so there are times he must get some things done during the normal hours. He will go to the homes of those who are sick etc and cannot travel. The few times I've missed him, never bothered me.
