Best Boat Repair ? Help!!!

Well, I broke the golden rule. I did not winterize my boat. Inboard 350 engine. I started it on land and had the water connected to it and water was coming from underneath the exhaust manifold. I feel stupid but, winter seemed to have came so fast. Oh well, the damage is done.
I want to take it to the Boat Doc but, I want to hear from everyone where you think is the best place to take it to.

You don't take the thing to Cat. I have no idea where your at but I would do my best to get it to him in Prattville and let him and Mike set you up! His name is all over this website so not hard to find him. Best there is around here....PERIOD!

.. use the Boat Doc. Big mistake if you do IMHO. Take it to CAT. I challenge you to find a dissatisfied CATHOUSE customer but even harder than that will be a satisfied Boat Doc customer.

I called and made appointment for Monday. Thanks for everyone that had input on this post.
While talking to Mike he ask had I checked for water in the oil and I ran out with him on phone... NO WATER!!! Great. Maybe it pushed a freeze plug out. We will see Monday.
Thanks again everyone...Hope I can repay the favor soon.

After these posts, gotta' be feelin' pretty special. You ought to feel special. This forum is a tough crowd to please, and in my 2 years here I have never read a negative comment about CatHouse Marine. Amazing.
You are doing something very right, including not getting involved in a political CatFight. Congratulations to you and yours.

I had the same thing happen right after I got my I/O -- turned out to be a cracked exhaust casing. If you don't winterize the water stays in them and when it is ice vs. cast iron, ice wins 10 times out of 10.

Cat is out of town this weekend. I am sure he will do a good job taking care of you.He and Mike are the only 2 I trust with my boat. Great crew and well worth the drive.

Your comments and recomendations are appreciated. I left town on Wednesday afternoon to go visit the Tickfaw 200 Pokerrun in Springfield La. Trying to catch up on things now. I depend on my Wife and a couple of GREAT employees. I am really nothing much more than a knowledge base for Cathouse, and enforce guidlines for good business practices.
