Saturday about 1am my neighbor, while walking his dog, caught 3 guys in a dark, 10-12ft jonboat holding on to the back of my boat. Clearly not fishing. When they saw him they took off. My neighbor didn't see the registration or the faces of the potential perps, but looks like I need a proplock. Madwin Creek area. If they come back tonight, I'll introduce them to my cousin Sam Colt. Anybody else experiencing any probs? I saw a post a few weeks ago about some theives that got caught with some stolen goods at a housetrailer on Peckerwood, maybe they've posted bond. Watch your stuff.

A few weeks ago a friend of mine had his new (three weeks old) 250 Yamaha stolen from his boat at a storage place.
Police came out, took the info and hopefully all the repair places check engine numbers to see if it is stolen.

I suggest installing a motion light to scare them off.

I installed motion cameras. Caught 2 thieves, a mailbox vadalizer, and a flower bed wrecker. All for about $1500.00.

For $19.99 you can install a wireless alert. When it detects motion it will chime inside the house like a doorbell. Takes 5 minutes to install. You can get on at booth A39 Longleaf Antique Mall in Alex City.

Some people use these fpr driveway Alerts. Works good for the price.

Have one on our driveway and it works quite well. Unfortunately, it doesn't know the difference between people/cars and the four legged visitors.

We have a driveway alert that detects metal so those ptoblems are eliminated.

This makes me sad. :( We've never had any problems in our area (Pleasure Point), but I guess none of us are immune.
