When they were building Spring House Restaurant at Russell Crossroads there was talk of them building a dock and shuttling folks back and forth to the water. Do any of you know if that has happened, and if so, exactly where is the dock?

yes, they do have that set up. They have a couple of old russell cabins down by the water as a greeting area and a multi slip dock. I have only seen the outside of the cabins, but they supposedly have a phone down there that you can call a shuttle. If you look on a google map it is right where Tucker Road meets Turtle Creek Tr. Or if looking at a real map see OZ Hall Rd, take Gordon Traylor to S then Graves, it is in the back of that slough. I came from land down Tucker Rd but I am 99% sure that is the way by water.

That is really good news. I hope enough folks take advantage of it to make it worthwhile for the restaurant. I know that we in Parker Creek are at a disadvantage restaurant-wise and I was hoping something like this would come along.

Your map didn't come up. Do you possibly have GPS coordinates for the cabins? Are there signs?

In any case I'll call the restaurant to see where the cabins are located, but it is Sunday evening so it will have to wait until tomorrow....

Good news unless you were one of the cabin tenants who got booted. But they were only little people so they don't matter in the big picture.
