Ya think you could post another question here on the forum? Surely there is something you must ask! We're getting a little slack on entertainment lately. :)

My thoughts exactly

Yeah, I was just thinking: I've posted about satellite service (got great opening response), then opened up a hornet's nest about hauling gas. It was my pleasure to entertain you while learning all I could about bumpers and fenders.

I've got a list of minor lake educational questions that have come up over the 2 weekends I've been at the lake since we bought the house. However it would be best to see what comes up over the 3 day weekend I'm there.

Until I come up with more questions from the Memorial Day weekend, be thinking of 1) how to get a self propelled Toro to self propel,2) how to kill grass growing in a gravel drive and 3)how to get rid of foliage on my side lot closest to the lake (since the mover won't propel) without killing my fish.

I'm here for your entertainment pleasure, so either go after any of those 3 above questions or wait 'til the weekend is over and see the new questions. After all, I've been named the straignt man on FB by our CEO.

Simple. 3 questions and 1 answer. "Buy a goat".

Ok 4lakelivin, if I am not mistaken you are the new kid on the block and have asked numerous good questions regarding boating, docks, etc, etc.

So please describe the boat you will be captaining this weekend in terms of Make, Length, Color, Engine mfg/size, etc so we can all stop you and say hello and also what part of the lake you are on. Think you stated it was a 24' pontoon boat and maybe River North area of the lake?

Actually we all need the boat description, etc. so if we see you we can steer clear and haul a## to make sure you do not hit us - Just teasing have a great weekend and be safe.

Word of advice and I am serious here -- Memorial Day weekend is usually not that congested, but a word of advice get plenty of practice in before the 4th of July weekend as the lake is crazy this weekend and there are a whole lot of "want to be" captains / idiots on the lake this weekend and at time the swells can be dangerous in a pontoon boat.

I do not recall 4 taking drink orders - probably be easier for him to deliver by boat (while learning the lake), than to put saddlebags on the bike.

Careful with your info 4. They will have you in a hot dog shelling contest before you know it.

Thanks for the 4th of July warning, Maverick. I have read older posts regarding the 4th traffic and some horror stories as well. Yes, I'm the newbee who has been posting "assorted" questions. Here's the boat description warning: 25' Godfrey pontoon, white with tan markings, 115 HP Yamaha. We're just off the Manoy creek area (can see it from my porch). We don't venture far yet, so will hang around the creek, but may cruse out toward the river. (That's why I haul my own gas - can't find the marinas yet). :) Also, look for someone with a death grip on a LM map.

The boat has an American flag from the light post, so if anyone sees the above description, RUN! You can outrun me since we just putt around.

That sounds more like your neighbor's boat - you just painted a target on it and threw them to the sharks. Ever sleep through "Waterworld"?

No that's mine. I guess I have the target.

My dad may have his new pontoon by the weekend. If he does, I may actually make it that far north with him.

I'm not 100% sure it's a done deal, but it looks like the winner is a 22' Manitou Legacy SHP with a 185 E-Tech. Last years model, but new. Send me your number on facebook....I know I have it somewhere, but it's not in my phone.
