Has not hit 490 yet! Lake is not full until it does. Must not be any corn in Kansas yet.

Actually there is corn in Kansas.. 490 is an absolute maximum according to AL power.. "Full Pool" is a somewhat misleading term, in fact I have heard the power company guys refer to 490 as the 'emergency' level.. They make ever effort to manage it just under the max level..

Correct me if I am wrong but I think I can remember seeing 490 Level posted on the website in the past couple of years. Seems it was sometime around late June. I wonder how accurate this websites reading is.

I suspect that as long as we are in the current rainy pattern that they will allow themselves a margin of safety to guard against a possible 490.5 condition. I think it is absolutely wonderful to see it this full!
