I restitched ours last year, wasn't that hard (if you know how to sew). There was a lady off of Highway 50 that we used right after we went to Lake Martin in 2001. I can't for the life of me remember her name. I'll try to see if I can find it.

What kind of thread did you use?

I believe it was the Coats and Clark Upholstery Nylon thread that is good for outdoors. I left it at the lake and we are at home. I had to buy a different needle for my machine too. I actually think the thread that I used this time was better than the thread that we paid to have it redone. It is thicker and stronger.

Appreciate the response. My wife is going to try to fix ours next week while on vac. I will pass this along to her. Have a good one.

Just bring it by Pushwater Marine Upholstery. You will get it restitched correctly with marine thread. You can even drive up on the boat to drop it off. Click the link for my web site and directions by road. We are located it Dead Timbers. Thanks Phil 256-675-0194

I recommend Pushwater Marine, I've seen a LOT of their work, they are reasonably priced, fast, and do a great job. See their ad on the home page of this site.
