Just an FYI we made it back to the other side of the lake in about 45 minutes (1/4 tank of gas or about 9 gallons of gas) and had to slow several times for extremely rough water and congestion in both Big Kowaliga and then again up by The Ridge.

As a newcomer to Lake Martin, I made the mistake on Saturday of taking my wife on a boat ride to Chimney Rock. I have a small boat, and I'm not sure if she will ever go out in the "big water" again. The lake was so rough that she was miserable, and there were times that I just wanted to be at my dock and not fighting the water.

Steve, We enjoyed the visit and thanks for stopping by. We need to get together for longer visit when we have a chance. You have a wonderful family.

We also had the pleasure of meeting Little Talisi (Larry) and his wife (Pam) this week for couple of visits. Great folks! Larry is the proud Papa of a new Green Egg, and he was kind enough to share his first batch of baby back ribs; they were awesome!

At this time, we do not offer the delivery option. However, time of cooking is often shared and since we are not into full service yet, tasting and sampling is welcomed. Come and see us. We don't live as far as jlzac.
