We heard a faint meow this afternoon coming from a wall in our playroom. I called my son at Auburn and our neighbor the Real Island fire chief and his wife. They dropped what they were doing and came to help us reach in a cubby behind a wall joist to retrieve Addy, healthy and happy. I have NO IDEA how she got there, but she is SO GROUNDED! Thanks again for all the encourarging messages!

That's wonderful news. I know the distress that one being gone for a long period of time can bring on. I did pray for your pet (I do for mine daily). I rejoice with you.

I'm so glad you found her. Cats can get in the darnest places and scare us half to death.

Oh, so glad you found her. I have many cats and 4 Parrots.
The Parrots are my kids. I would love to bring Milo "My blue and Gold Macaw out on the lake in the boat and be a real Parrots Pirate for a day, but I lost him for a few Hr's one day and almost went mad with grief. And said I would never let him get away from me again. Funny how we can care so much for a pet. To the point of panic.

Woo Hoo!!!! Yeah!!!! All right!!!!! Yippee!!!!! Clap, clap clap!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad for you!

My Angel Cat escaped from the house a few years back and was gone for 5 weeks! I knew she was close as I set out food for her and would see her late at night in the bushes close to the house. She was afraid of our dogs and we couldn't get her to come us. Trophy Husband and I finally set out a Happy Heart trap. First night we caught possum. It was NASTY!!! Big, huge teeth and very very bad breath!!!! Hissed at us when we got close. (telling how the husband got the possum out of the trap is a story for another time!) Second night we caught an Angel Cat! Yeah!!! She was down to six pounds! She hasn't wandered since!
