We just got back home after 10 days at the lake. However, last Thursday our 15 year old family pet dog (Rusty) got lost. He was last seen in the Parson Hills, Genie Martin Road area. He's a small mixed breed the color of rust. Because of his age, he is graying around the nose and mouth.

We hated leaving today not just because the lake is great, but had to come home without our dog. If anyone happens to see him, please contact me.

There is a free lost & found section on this forum's classifieds, you can even upload photo's. Also there are very helpful people in the 3 county area animal shelters, Lake Martin Humane Society, Kowalgia Humane Society and Wetumka Humane Society, which will give you phone numbers and take down a missing animal report. Also you can list your pet on www.alapet.org. Good luck!

That sure improves the odds although it might be wise to check with the county and/or shelters - if they have an animal control where he was found.

I sure hope you get the dog back It's like losing a family member.

My mom and step dad live at the end of that road...Parson Hills. I called her and told her to be on the look out. They have a few dogs and it seems like they attract other dogs.

If she sees him I'll let you know.
