Who cares ... you liberals have a lot more serious issues to worry about with your great leader. That hope and change thing is really working?
How about you, what is it that you think is working so well? Where do you think all this spending and goverment power will take us? What do you see the ned result in 4 years?
Come on ... share what you think. You have to have some reason you support Obama and his policies, you must have some view as to where it will take us. Or am I giving you too much credit that you actually think about that rather than blindly following like many liberals. Hopefully you do have a mind and can share your thoughts. I (and many others) would love to know.

That's the difference between the left and the right. When someone on the right falls the Left goes into fits of indignation, accusations of hypocrisy, etc. With the left there are no ethics or scruples and anything goes so when some liberal does something unethical, immoral or whatever there's barely a peep because there is no standard of behavior.
I would much rather be on the side where man's concupiscence means something than on the side where there is no sense of decency or standards........ The price you pay for being on the side of objective truth is that when one falls due to weakness one is open to criticism. Only the gutless or truly morally bankrupt would prefer to be free that potential criticism. But that defines a liberal in this country today.

All you can do is bicker.
Without putting a judgement on it, both of these men have had to stand up in a public forum and admit that they have royally screwed up. Not only do they have to face the endless public discussion about their screw up, their families also have to deal with it. In Sanford's case, they are releasing his private mails -- how do you think that makes his family feel? Probably about the same as that other Dude with his "wide stance" in the men's room. Just think how his family felt. Likely about the same as Hilary and Chelsea felt about the public outing of Bill's antics in the WH.
Yet, all you can do is bicker back and forth about whether Republicans or Democrats are the worst. News Flash -- they are both bad, both subject to making poor judgements, and all apparently have the ability to publicly humiliate their spouses and families.
Can we let this go now???

wow. thats great. I have been married 30 years, but don't come home for lunch ... big city you know ... hour drive for 19 miles. you should be eating lunch with your wife rather than getting on the lake board. As you can see i don't sleep much ... up late working on presentations and client activity, then up again at 5a to watch international market reports on CNBC. I use this as my escape because I enjoy seeing and laughing at how people like you think and never will directly respond to a question ... especially about who you support and why.
Obama is a total disaster and i would think if you support him and his policies you could say why and what you expect it will lead to. What is the end game. I always think in terms of the end game ... what is the result i want. Maybe you don't, but you have to have some thought what you would like or expect to happen under Obama ... if not, what are you supporting. Just the hope and change thing without knowing what that means?

Anybody could figure out what it meant by the context of the post. I was just illustrating MM's love of trying to highlight his superior brain. Real thinkers would never use a $50 word when a dime word would better convey the message. I applaud you for realizing you aren't that bright and therefore avoid the big words.

Archie: I am sorry you were so offended at my use of a word with more than one syllable that you had to insult me by calling me a nutcase. It frankly says way more about the kind of person you are than anything else.....and that is not a compliment by the way.
I intentionally used concupiscence because unlike most liberals, I am not fixated on sex or lust or other failings simply of the flesh. Frankly, when it comes to errors in judgment by politicians due to their tendency toward sin (or failings for you secular humanists) this one is the least important of all. I am much more interested in the failings of men and women in positions of political power that have a direct negative impact on our lives, hence my broadening of the discussion with my seemingly offensive word (at least to the likes of you).
You and GF can salivate all you want over who is cheating on who. There are plenty of tabloids out there and websites like the huffington post and daily kos to satisfy your fixation on which Republican politician is an adulterer. I take solace in the fact that they pay a political and professional price for their indiscretions rather than being rewarded for it if they are a Dem.

Don't use big words? Really? What do you normally read, comic books? Oh, I know, you think USA Today is written by intellectuals. Heck , even the crossword puzzles in your beloved NY Times (generally a newspaper work of fiction) have multi-syllable words.
All the big thinkers I have ever read all tend to use the English language to its fullest extent to express their ideas in the most precise way. That people like you don't understand it cannot be a reason for excluding a term that expresses a point more accurately.
However, just for you Archie, in the future when I use a multi-syllable word I will put a simple, hopefully single syllable, synonym or definition in parentheses for the simple minded (synonym means another word with the same meaning).

intellegent people do not view words as $50 or dime words ... if you have a good vocabulary then all words are equal. But I am sure he has taken your advice to talk down to you so you can understand next time.
He will use words like hope and change! You know what those mean right? :)
