Is there an optimal "color, test, manufacturer" fishing line to maximize catching fish when fishing the light at night? thanks!

its called flourocarbon. most is sold clear but color doesn't really matter. make sure you are fishing with 100% flouro and not just flouro coated. its expensive but it's the only way.

Even with Fluoro, catching fish in the brightly lit area will be next to impossible. Fish the edges where the light fades out, and you will catch more fish, and line visibility will be less of a factor.

Thanks for the advice, I am using Trilene Big Game. Fishing the outside of the light makes alot if sense!
