Cat, I did not get to replacing the part you "diagnosed over the phone" for the problem I was having with my Four Winns until today, just test drove it and the problem is gone, when I was taking the valve out the barb broke and there was trash behind the check ball and all in the spring causing the ball not to move and allow enough fuel to flow. Now the only way you could get any better at what you do is to call me when you “know” I am having an issue and tell me how to fix it. You have the direction to my place, come by this weekend when you're down for a cold one! I am impressed. What is the brew of your preference? Make sure it is a good chaser for Tequila cause we’re having an all-adult weekend for a change, no grandkids! Hey can you dial up the rpm on an 08 RXT215?

Thanks DJ for the complement. Did you really think you were wasting your time when you called? LOL, kidding. That was just a good exchange of information. Sorry you spent all that time/parts trying to do it yourself before you called. Just think, I could have told you to "Bring it in" and you'll get it back "Good to Go". I am happy you are running again! You all are great on the forum. I'll be up this weekend. We should meet up! I don't have directions to your place. Email or call me and I will come by and shake hands, and collect. I would like to meet other members from the forum as well.

Respectfully,
Steve

ps. NC is hot!

My wife knows exactly where she stands with me. Now, if your hubby is wondering about you??? What have YOU done to make him wonder? Seems as though you may have unspoken issues. But, I am only going on what LAMONT has told me with emails. GF also sent something out, but I cant remember what it was. GF said maybe you had a cylinder down or something. I can't remember. Summer had the best idea I think..

I can't remember. I'll have to think what he said. He said something about skinny dipin', or whatever. He said he had some video footage maybe? And, he said something about a stripper pole on a boat. I don't know, call him. I don't remember. See ya Saturday.

I will send you a copy of the video as soon as I get it downloaded - I told you that the Leica Televid with the adaptor did an excellent job at covert documentation of lake activities. And I still don't think we should call it a "stripper pole" if it is being used by non-professionals, even if they are doing a remarkable job of defying gravity. BTW CAT - did you help that guy on the maintenance forum looking for help with his "trim fluid" - I thought NC said you were using baby oil, perhaps that will help him with the delays with his outdrive coming up.

Summer.

Baby oil in a lift pump could cause seal blow-out from all the pressure. I think one should only use the recommended oil in there trim pump. other wise they could get there engine stuck in the vertical positions. this would require outside resources to get it back down into the cold water so that it preforms the task it was made for.

So there is no down side to using baby oil - I like that, if only all problems were that easy to correct.
