For those not participating in the Poker Run tomorrow, we are all going to meet up at Sinclair's after the event and try to meet and great. Music, Food and Booze afterwards and not fee to attend of course for what you eat and drink. Just look for a bunch of crazy folks and that will be us.
Also Bruce aka Webmaster is a 70% probability to fly in for the event. So lets all shame him into coming - LOL.
So come one, come all and let finally have a true meet and greet at Sinclair's around 3:30 tomorrow.

Mav will be done in about 1 hour with that rocket ship of his....this will be my first ever poker run...we are in thanks to mckaygmc for stopping by the store and taking my reg form and money to Kowaliga....come on Bruce, this should be fun....

The pressure is on... Steve offered me a seat in the CAT BOAT so I'm packing my bags. I'm planning to leave from Knoxville at sun-up by plane. I can't wait, camera in hand! Stay tuned...

I will be there. I will have my Dad and as some of you know he is disable from a stroke many years ago so I may not be able to stay long after the run, lest he is left all alone on the boat, and that would not be fair to him. I have been calculating millage and fuel consumption and I think I can do it on 30 Gallons if I keep it about 23 MPH. I will try to get to the Ridge By about 9:30 or 10:00 I hope.
This will be my first Poke run and I am very nervous because I don't know what to do but It looks like it's pretty easy. I have never been to Blue Creek or Real Island and don't know there set up or where to go. All the other marinas I have been to or been by. It looks like it will be fun. Hope to see many of you there. I will warn you I am more shy in person so if I am not taking pot shots or jabs at you all, don't worry I am not sick. "LOL"
Well Looks like the weather will be nice and I can run with the top down and make better GPH Burn.I hope.
Let the games begin.

To get to Blue Creek Marina --- From the Ridge go past Stillwaters on your left and stay to left of Channel after Stillwaters (Before you get to Stillwaters watch out for all the buoys in the middle of the lake as this is the top of a mountain). About 1 mile you will see some power lines going over the lake with some Orange Balls, turn left under the power lines and go straight and when you come to an island in the middle of the channel stay to the right and Blue Creek will be up on your right, cannot miss it. And if you go to far you will know it as the top of your boat will have been taken off by Barron Bridge.
To get to Real Island - Head to Kowaliga Bridge, go past Sinclair's and Kowaliga Marine on your left, go past both and stay to the left at the split (DO NOT GO TOWARDS SAND ISLAND OR WILLOW POINT, so you now are heading towards Little Kowaliga, proceed probably about 3 or 4 miles and Real Island Marina will be on your right, cannot miss it.
PS - TAKE A MAP, as I give do not guarantee these directions in the least - LOL. Heck better yet just follow Cat.

Your fuel consumption would greatly improve if you run a line from Cat's boat to yours at every stop, I have a spare electric fuel pump and some hose if you need it.

Bruce might look into getting a spell check installed for the forum users. Oh wait, make that an English Grammar checker. Or possibly get Mav a secretery to do his posting for him during happy hour.

Oh I have a map and did some Google earth-ing. I see where they are just don't know the marina layouts.
A BIG HELP is the hazards heads up on Blue creek, that I did not know about.

my neighbor, John Wilson, who is celebrating a birthday at Sinclair's that afternoon. Wife, MaryAnne.
We cannot make either the PokerRun party or John's birthday due to recovery from surgery, but, if ya'll will, call him out, and wish him a Happy Bithday. He is a very, very good neighbor, and he plays a MEAN Guitar too!!

Your neighbor JOHN WILSON will be called out for sure. As when I spoke to my Lions Club friend he told me about the Bday Party and conflict with bands and all agreed to share the Bday Party band so your neighbor will definitely be called out and if I can talk Steve into it a ride on the Cat Boat !!!
