Did you host Alan Jackson at your house before the show??? Someone said he was staying at a home in the Ridge. His boat was spotted in the vicinity.

just redirected two nice couples in crestliners, headed up river looking for an oyster bar in Dadeville.. I did not giggle since they were from Tampa, launched in Stillwaters and thought Palooza was a hoot.. A full time resident on Pace Point, I suggested they needed to forget looking up river, head back past Stillwaters, under the bridge, to Christophers.. Think I screwed up, forgot it was Sunday?? But also suggested Oskars as a short walk option from blue Creek.. hope they don't starve.. but they were also rotund and having fun..

the bet stands big mouth. Come on, if you are so sure, name the amount, place and time. You are the ONLY one that has been caught in lies, time and time again.

As I have said, you are pitiful that you are so embarrassed of yourself that you have to lie. But others don't do that. I am sure that hurts you and I feel sorry for you.

So lets make it a very large sum of money if you are so sure. Make it worth my while and yours, I would love to take your money. Or are you chicken and just like to shoot your mounth off about things you have no knowledge. I think that is the case or else you would take the bet. You have no backbone and only can demonstrate your class envy. If you believe you are right, this is your opportunity to make some money.

I really cannot understand your insistance that WW is lying about graduating 4th in his class at Emory Law. Why would he lie about such a thing? It just doesn't make sense.

He appears to have graduated, and gone on to have a successful career. Why would you think he would lie about it? What is to be gained?

I have no idea whether WW gradusted 4th at Emory Law or even went to Emory and don't care one way or the other. I will say if he did go to Emory Law and was 4th in his class and his angry posts are indicative of the Emory Law grads, I hope I never get sideways with No,s 1,2,& 3!

WW, this is a test. What is the actual full name of the College of Law at Emory U?

Hound asked GF why he thought WW was lying and Archie responded with "I don't care.......". From the outside looking in it would appear GF answered the question as Archie. I may be wrong but my observations raise the question are these two the same person and if so then that would be a violation of the rules of the forum. I would hope that we can have debate and disagreement without violating the rules.

Correction to the quote "I have no idea.......".

If you don't care, you seem to make comments about it very often out of the blue. So it certainly seems to bother you a great deal.

Again, the offer stands ... if you choose not to take me up on it, lets stop the childish behavior as it is could be considered harrassment.

So you don't have to look it up the official name is Emory University School of Law, referred to by most as Emory Law, Emory Law School or ELS.

The full name of Emory Law School is L.Q.C. Lamar School of Law after an early grad who went on to be Pres. of The Univ. of Miss, member of Congress, Senator and Member of the Supreme Court appointed by Grover Clevland in 1888. The full name is almost never used today but it was more common before the 70's when the school moved into its new building. Even with its rare use today I would think an Emory Law Grad would know it and would answer rather than changing the subject to avoid answering.

BTW; WW, astro and anyone else who thinks I (architect)am "breaking the rules" by being one and the same with GF, I suggest you prove it or cease talking about it. Maybe GF has a point about the interesting graphically inverse image of MM and WW. WW seems the "bull in a china shop" version for expressing the off the wall extremism that MM spouts with a velvet tongue. Horrors....could they be one in the same. Nah, I think not. I think they are completely separate angry and paranoid individuals.

Asto, as I have previous;y posted, I have a number of alias. They include both male and female. A few are even part of the Right Wing conspiracy that post here. They include one expecting, another on welfare, and one who likes fast food, and one who eats only in upscale restaurants. One even still has a McClain/Palin bumper sticker. You just need to work on identifying them.

On a seperate issue, I note you post from Smith Lake. I used to camp there years ago and found it to be a great lake. I wonder why there is so little activity on the Forum under Lake Topics for Smith??

Proof of what??????? I am completely lost by your post seeking a bet and a time and a place. I remember last time that occurred I was in middle school and I turned chicken out at the last minute when I saw the guy had 3 guys backing him up. Since then I have matured and I hide behind posting. Maybe, it is time to flap my left wing and meet the right wing flapper. Can you explain what I need to prove to win????

I also think Smith is a great lake. The only hot topic about the lake that I know of is the water levels. I knew that before I bought so I won't complain. I once lived on Lake Sinclair in Middle Georgia and the lake levels were fairly steady but not nearly as clean as Smith. I did like the stationary docks on Sinclair and getting to like floating docks is taking awhile.

Have never heard that. You could win at trivia with tid bits like that. Not sure that reference is still used anywhere. I have not seen it. But Thanks. My tax law professor Jeff Pennell has been there close to forever and I still keep contact with him. I will email him and ask if he has heard that reference.

You know, this mulitiple alias, multiple personality thing is freaky. Mental illness has never been very funny to me. and I can't imagine why anyone would think it amusing to assume various personalities under various alias. Stuff like that makes me not want to post here anymore.

GF has been a very strange individual for some time ... his behavior is scary. He definitely is a bit disconnected. Even if he is trying to joke, it makes you wonder if all his marbles line up.

Makes me think of Deliverence everytime he posts.

Architect ... I found your answer interesting ... so I researched LQC Lamar, and he was a very interesting fellow ... but I couldn't find anything that indicated that the law school at Emory University had ever been named afte him ... can you post a reference source? Thanks.

I do not know this one or both persons but I would hope everyone would abide by the forum rules. I am not positive that anyone is using multiple user names but today when one user answered a question meant for another and that answer was in the first person you can only assume that they are the same person. Also, if you compare the post times it appears that they almost always post very close to the same times, only a few minutes apart. I just hope it ends so I can continue to enjoy the forum.

OK, I have no dog whatsoever in this hunt, but always relish a challenge.

From the Emory web site, on the Candler School of Theology page, is the following quaote:

"1916

In September the Lamar College of Law, named for alumnus L.Q.C. Lamar, was established....."

Ain't the Internet great!!

Thanks N.H. The school is not often if ever referred to by the original full name today, but there is a prestigious endowed chair for the position of "L.Q.C. Lamar Professor of Law".

on L.Q.C. Lamar. His full name...Lucius Quintus Cincinnatus Lamar! Now that is a name a man could be proud of.
