Just couldn't help notice our liberal friends drooling over their newly found fact check website. see two threads down. Anyway, there was some comment about no "free" health care. A few years ago Medicaid patients had to pay $1.00 (US one dollar) per office visit. With the terrible inflation in health care I'm sure that's all the way up to $2.00 per visit. I guess that fills the requirement for "no free health care"?

I believe o-BAMA's plan requires "payment" by all, but credits those under a certain income. Is that a real payment?

Exactly where in the proposed plan does it state that only US Citizens will be eligble for coverage of any type?

I believe you are wrong unless I'm getting some special treatment. I've been on Medicare for 14 months and have been to my family doc twice for a general physical and a specialist for a follow up exam for some treatment a month before going on medicare and I have paid nothing for these office visits. I was even surprised week before last that an eye exam was covered as was $30 toward new lenses. I of course continue to make my yearly self employed contribution to medicare and now also pay $92/ mo for my supp coverage, $39/mo for medicare drug coverage part D, and $280 every 3 (? maybe 4) months for medicare hospital coverage and dr. visits. In short for the moment I'm getting MUCH better "socialist" coverage for less than 1/3d of what I was paying for "private" coverage a little over a year ago.
