democrat congresswoman that praised Castro as the "greatest world leader she has ever met". That is a quote. Then she went on to say the socialize healthcare that he created should be a "model" to the rest of the "world". The democrats should be totally ashamed by that statement and publicly state that her view is not the view of the party in general. By not doing so, they are aligning with her and supporting her view.
But she did fail to mention that the Cuban government pay doctors $15 a "month" and it is a frickin island, not a country with 300 million people with the best healthcare in the world. And before you liberals start saying it is not .... be sure to also state why the countries you claim to think have better healthcare, people can not get surguries they need, they do not trust the quality of the doctors and come to the US system when it is a life or death situation.

-Four points here:
--1)Leadership: She says in teh clip that Castro is teh greatest leader she has ever met. That might be true, because she probably hasn't met many great leaders,--too much time in Washington. She's dumb as a door knob!
--2)Heath Care: she says Cuba has one of teh greatest health systems in teh world. ---by almost anyone's evaluation system, that assessment is just stupid. --she's dumb as a door knob.
--3) Cuban Revolution: she states/believes that Che led teh Cuban revolution, that Che overthrew Baptista, and that afterwards Che found a lawyer named Castro to lead teh new socialist government. All of this is wrong. Castro led teh revolution and Che started out in the Cuban revolution as a doctor/medic working for Castro.. Don't you think a congresswoman, would know the real history before talking about it before a group? again, dumb as a door knob.
--4)Congress quality: I've said this before, some/a large number of congressmen/women are some of the dumbest people I've ever met. Although I've never met this particular congresswoman, from this clip she fits into that category. Any of you on this forum think she read the healthcare bill? Yet we send these people to congress, year after year after year. I guess we deserve what these clowns are going to do to us.

No ... they aren't aligning with her. Typical WW logic ... if you don't stand up and denounce something someone says then you by default agree with them. Sorry WW ... but you align with someone by standing up and AGREEING with them.

I am a centrist. My response was centrist. Both parties have kooks on their extremes. Ms. Watson is just one on the Democrat's ledger as is Ms. Waters of CA while Ms. Bachmann as well as Ms. Foxx of NC do an admirable job for the GOP. I think both parties probably have some men who also qualify. Can you name any? Now be balanced, include both parties.

I havn't posted a response critical of GF or Lady because so far they havn't posted anything so off the wall crazy that I see any need to comment. Yes, I do think this forum is made up of a few centrists, a pot-full of hard right loonies. Then there's you and Yankee. This is the best in intellectual discourse coming from the left. Waaaahhhh..........the other guys do it too.....
Don't anyone believe Archie when he says he is a centrist. He doesn't have a conservative bone in his body. He is a liberal that is too ashamed to admit it. And when you post intellectually and factually correct information he quickly resorts to name calling. What he doesn't understand about conservatism is that it is based on logic, reason, facts and the ability to combine all three into a cogent world view.
Liberalism is the antithesis of that approach, they believe so much that just isn't true and when faced with reality they call names, threaten and resort to censorship. It's all so Chavez or Castro.......personal heroes of Archie and his left wing crowd...
