We were thinking of going to the Sunday prime rib and seafood buffet. Is it worth it? Can we expect a wait? We are not early eaters so we were thinking of 7:30

We have enjoyed both the prime rib and seafood buffet. Can't answer about the time but I would assume dinner at 7:30 should not be a problem. They do have a nice wine list.Call them at 7 and ask about wait time.

Just where to eat. We rarely cook. :)

The buffet was ok, but don't think we will do again. Not really our style. Food was tasty, got to meet Christopher and talk to. We will definitely go again, but on a regular night. His wine list was pretty good and fair prices for his quality wines. Since we live on the Alex City side of the lake, it is a bit of a drive, but we can not go to Springhouse every night. We went Friday and Saturday, so we wanted something different on Sunday.

I was suprised that they added the tip (19%) to the check automatically. As far as I could tell they only had one server working. I normally tip better than that so it was not the amount, but just surprised they added it automatically.

I am a pretty good tipper too but an automatic 19% at a buffet is wrong.
