What was a nice relief rally for the last few months is now turning to the reality that Obama and clowns do not have a clue and their policies are not working.
- jobs report
- higher taxes
- feds saying they will need to start jacking interest rates
- wasteful federal spending of 170% of revenues
- bigger government
- trying to force socialized healthcare down peoples throats
- negotiating with terrorists
- being focused on the wrong priorities (Olympics)
- weakened foreign policy
- cap and trade
- rising oil prices

-Ahhhhhhhhh, the ups and downs of the stock market.
-I've been following the market for the last 30 years, and I've heard pundits almost every day give reasons for why it's going up and why it's going, ...and always after the fact. No one can ever tell, or almost never, who's right and who's wrong for a particular day's trip up or down the graph.
-My feeling is that traditionally October is a bad month. I always review my portfolio in September, and sell lots of stuff before teh October madness is underway.
-Yes we're down 200 today, but we're up 2000 for the year. My guess is that next Tuesday (pick a day) we'll be up 200 again.
-I've never been able to figure the D%mn thing out!!!

No surprise with WW post

For 6 months the market has been going up. A fairly typical pattern of 2 steps forward and 1 step back but the trajectory was, and I suspect still, up. All in spite of Obama. Now we are at one of those one step back points (profit taking) and it's all because of Obama and his policies. In reality Obama has very little to do with the going up or the coming down. WW knows that as well as anybody but he more than anyone else on this forum seeks out and takes every opportunity to bash anybody not in lockstep with his economic or social beliefs. By the way WW, what do you think of the recent conservative blog that called for a military coup against the Obama administration and another that was running a poll on whether Obama should be assasinated?

Don't recall your being at all upset with the film about assassinating George Bush. But as GF points out above it was a hoax anyway, just like the leftist that damaged the Dem congressman's place. What you don't seem to understand is that true conservatives are too busy running the private economy and too moral to even consider something like that, unlike the multitude of leftists during the Bush presidency.
The world is filled with wackos and I am sure you would not want to be lumped in with those that fascinated about Bush would you?
