It has not even officially been released yet ... but the pre-buys has rocketed it to the #1 seller on Amazon.com best seller list.
Archie that must really upset you. Especially when Glenn Beck's book is #2.
Yet the liberal book that recently came out "The death of conservatism" has not even hit the top 100. :)
Maybe Obama can write a book about his quest for the Olympics and put all other issues aside only to come DEAD LAST.

The vast majority of democrats can't, don't, won't, or are not allowed to read so no liberal books will make the best seller list. And, it's probably the few libs that can read driving the sales of Palin's book. They need fresh information to attack.

What Pres. Barack Hussein Obama has done in his first 6 months! Would President Sarah have done these? I don't think so!
1. Offended the Queen of England.
2. Bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia.
3. Praised the Marxist Daniel Ortega.
4. Kissed Socialist Hugo Chavez on the cheek.
5. Endorsed the Socialist Evo Morales of Bolivia.
6. Sided with Hugo Chavez and Communist Fidel Castro against Honduras.
7. Announced we would meet with Iranians with no preconditions while they're building their nuclear weapons.
8. Gave away billions to AIG also without preconditions.
9. Expanded the bailouts.
10. Insulted everyone who has ever loved a Special Olympian.
11. Doubled our national debt..
12. Announced the termination of our new missile defense system the day after North Korea launched an ICBM.
13. Released information on U.S. intelligence gathering despite urgings of his own CIA director and the prior four CIA directors.
14. Accepted without comment that five of his cabinet members cheated on their taxes and two other nominees withdrew after they couldn't take the heat.
15. Appointed a Homeland Security Chief who identified military veterans and abortion opponents as "dangers to the nation."
16. Ordered that the word "terrorism" no longer be used and instead refers to such acts as "man made disasters."
17. Circled the globe to publicly apologize for America's world leadership.
18. Told the Mexican president that the violence in their country was because of us.
19. Politicized the census by moving it into the White House from the Department of Commerce.
20. Appointed as Attorney General the man who orchestrated the forced removal and expulsion to Cuba of a 9-year-old whose mother died trying to bring him to freedom in the United States.
21. Salutes as heroes three Navy SEALS who took down three terrorists who threatened one American life and the next day announces members of the Bush administration may stand trial for "torturing" three 9/11 terrorists by pouring water up their noses.
22. Low altitude photo shoot of Air Force One over New York City that frightened thousands of New Yorkers.
23. Sent his National Defense Advisor to Europe to assure them that the US will no longer treat Israel in a special manner and they might be on their own with the Muslims.

25. Nationalized General Motors and Chrysler while turning shareholder control over to the unions and freezing out retired investors who owned their bonds. Committed unlimited taxpayer billions in the process.

GF, the Messiah himself said he is going to pay for Obamacare with $500 billion from your beloved Medicare. Only a fool or a sycophant actually believes the government can find $500 billion in waste, fraud, etc. in a government program being run by the government. If it exists why not get rid of theses costs now? What a hoot and the main reason why seniors are turning against Dems, they really understand the truth about this.

Hound, you normally have more class than that. But the publishers paid her $7 million to write the book. By the look of the early demand it was a wise investment.
You guys can make your jokes, but it looks like there are plenty of people that have an interest, so it looks like you are the minority.
Maybe you should read the #2 best seller by Glenn Beck ... seems that is more fitting of the difficulty clear thinking americans have in dealing with liberals. :)

Medicare Advantage programs will be reduced by o-BAMA simply by cutting out some of the money contributed to insurance companies to handle these policies. Bad news for 25-30% of Medicare patients. That's a fact, read up on the facts before you make a bigger fool of yourself.
Also, many billions in fraud CAN be eliminated from the Medicare program simply by enforcing the law. o-BAMA doesn't need a new law to enforce; why hasn't he done anything. I could show him where a few billion are being stolen right now.

I have no plans to read either book.
The fact that she got a large advance to "write" her book (she didn't actually write it herself) says that the publishers are convinced that she is controversial enough to sell books. No doubt a lot of people will buy it to see if she dishes on the McCain campaign. I understand that she has been on the rubber chicken circuit, getting paid to speak and that she is hoping to get her own TV show. No wonder she quit being governor. She doesn't really want a career in politics, she just wants to get rich.
I've always though Glenn Beck was a raving idiot, well before the elections or anything else. He's right up there with Keith Oberman.
You know, I hope these books sell. Publishers put them out there, so they can afford to publish really well written books that the masses don't read.

Why not get rich ... if the opportunity is there, take advantage of it. That way obama can take most of it to spread to others or waste on more stimulus that does not work, or trips to lose face by coming dead last after making his pitch. A lot of influence he has.
As for Glenn Beck, all liberals hate him, because he shares facts that make them angry.
Now a days everyone that does not agree with Obama is a racist. Does that make blacks that don't agree with him a racisit too? The guy is clueless and dangerous.

It's just so predictable. I would have respected her more if she stayed in office and written her book. I don't have anything against wanting to get rich and taking advantage of the opportunities presented, but I don't believe in giving up your obligations to public service, for personal profit.
As for black people that don't like Obama - I guess they are black people that don't like Obama. Same as a lot of white people that don't like Obama. The only time it becomes racist is when the reason that one doesn't like him is because he is a black man. And I think there are some white people that feel that way, and yes, they are closet racists.

There are many black people that do not agree with Obama. Both blacks and whites have conservative or liberal points of view and actually align with elected officials on policy.
I think it is disrespectful of democrats to assume that because someone is black they support or should support Obama. And that whites that do not like him it is only because they are racist. Appalling!
There were blacks and whites that did not like Bush ... and the media and democrats easily accepted that it was because they did not agree with his policy. Yet with Obama, if you don't support him or if you are critical of him and his policies and agenda ... now they only explanation is that you must be a racist.
Not true ... Obama and this administration is the most radical liberal administration we have had in the history of this country. There is a clear agenda and the policies thus far have been a miserable failure.
I have asked several times for someone to name one thing that Obama has done since in office that whoever responds is personnally proud of and can say that it has had a positive impact on the future of america.
It may not suprise you, but I can not think of one thing, yet I can think of several that were very bad decisions and could have a very negative impact on the country.

Lastly, what is the 1 positive thing that Obama has done that YOU are proud of and that you feel has and will have a positive impact on america. Your silence is a clear indicator.

Because in our culture, people like to label things because it makes things easier to understand. And "racist" gets people's attention because of the history of this country. I know some people that I consider good friends and know that they are not racist, yet they don't like and didn't even consider voting for Obama. They don't like his beliefs. Doesn't make them racists. It just makes them people.
I think that there are segments of white people that just assume that anyone black would be for Obama just because he is black. I mean, Obama being President represents what MLK and other marched for. And in that segment of the population, it scares the h*ll out of them that a black man could be President, regardless of his beliefs. He could be conservative and they would still hate him.

I think it is wonderful that a black man was elected president. But I and others do not have to agree with him. And just because we do not does not make us racists. As the one article said ... Powell and Rice were both black and accomplished. Not everyone agreed with them yet I did not see anyone saying people that challenged them or disagreed were racist.
It seems it is the liberal democrats that keep crying foul and labeling those that disagree with Obama as a racist.
It is insulting to hear dems doing that ... we have equality in this country and opportunity for all ... we elected a black man president. Now lets agree and disagree on policy ... crying that it is about race creates problems that do not exisit.
There will always be racist in society ... but disagreeing with the president on policy does not make an individual racist.

GF, I think no one disagrees that there is a small segment of society that opposes Obama because of his skin color. What I and others object to is the Jimmy Carter/Maureen Down et al crowd that attempt to cast any objection to Obama's policies as inherently racist. This was all so predictable as America begins to learn who Obama really is and turns against him and the Dem leadership in Congress and their statism.
The fact is Obama got more of the white vote than Kerry and while racism still exists in America the vast majority have gotten beyond all that. Its only the race baiters, poverty pimps and community organizers that want to perpetuate and are fixated on race issues. That is their way to accumulate wealth and power. Most of the rest of us long ago moved on. Maybe you should as well.
