As I anticipated in an earlier post. The left is so pathetic and predictable. At least you can always count on them to not surprise you by having any class to admit the varnish is off the Messiah.....
Hopeless and change for the worse.....
I wonder how many new unemployed we have now that they have closed the Olympics office in the White House.......

Funny, I see this article as what I assume has become the American Way. Instead of saying "we gave it our best shot and didn't win", we have to make excuses why it didn't go our way.
This smacks to me exactly what the Right has been doing since the election of Obama -- making excuses as to why they didn't win because it couldn't possibly be that the winner just ran a better campaign and had the better message.
Whatever happened to good sportsmanship?

Nope thank goodness. However, one of our employees had her apartment flooded. Fortunately we have a lot of generous people who have come to her aid. I actually missed all the rain. We took our son to college in Orlando that weekend and had nice weather while we were there. Watched the carnage from afar and got regular email updates from my COO about the rain. Sounded pretty amazing.
I have never seen the Hooch that high in the 21 years I have been here. How about you?

What excuses for the loss? There are reasons we lost but that doesn't make them excuses. I don't get the knee jerk response of trying to find some sort of equivalency as if that excuses anything. My whole point is how predictable the left is in balming Bush for everything. They did it while he was President and they are still doing it. And I predict here and now that they will stil be doing it during the 2010 election cycle. Watch and see. They will stil be running against Bush but it won't work.

You missed the whole point.. Conservatives had no voice in the last election.. John McCann is a hero, I held my nose and voted for him.. But a conservative, he ain't.. We, of sustaining faith are looking for a leader to guide us back from the dark.. Guess we can hope... for change...

I didn't miss any point. NO ONE just says "hey, I got beat. I didn't win". Reasons, excuses, you can parse the words anyway you want, but it's the same thing. Instead of thinking about what they are going to do differently next time, they offer words. In fact, right now the Right is only hoping that the people will become disenchanted with Obama, but they are still not thinking about how they might actually win.
It's a socio-cultural thing. In my opinion, it's the same thought process that makes every child outstanding and everyone gets a ribbon just for showing up. As they say on the cop shows when they get caught "not my drugs. I don't know why those drugs are in my car".

Thanks for clearing it up GF. The U.S. didn't get the Olympics because Bush only gave $550 million of the $6 billion in aid to Pakistan! Thank goodness that's cleared up.
GF, you occasionally come up with non sequiturs but this one is a doozy. And this from the left that constantly reminds us that we gave aid to al Queda in their fight against the Russians and that's why its all our fault......you really need to decide which it is, they either hate us and we gave them aid so its all our fault or they hate us and we didn't give them all the aid we budgeted and its all our fault. I guess the only consistent point is regardless of what we do its all our fault.....oh how the left hates America....

The point was how the Bush administration gave 6 billion to Pakistan and only 550 million can be accounted for. Nothing to do with Russia or al queda or the Olympics. Reread the article.

I was being sarcastic that an original post about how they are starting to blame Bush for Chicago not getting the Olympics (as I had predicted) was morphed by your post into a totally different topic about the funding provided to Pakistan. Probably a little too obscure in my language.
