TVA Dam Repair
Came across this recently and was wondering when was the last repair performed on Martin Dam? Did it require a draw down and for how long? Lake Chatuge in north Georgia is a beautiful lake and the draw down options ranging from 4-8 years certainly has the locals quite concerned.

Other than upgrading the genny's the only other project I am aware of was about 25 years ago they did the anchoring project where they drilled through the dam into bedrock and inserted wire bundles with toggles, then pulled them to thousands foot pounds of torch and tied them off "anchoring" the dam to the bedrock. Then they rebuilt the arches due to decay.
But since my former father -in-law retired I don't get news on projects like I used to.
