I'm sure there are instances where a degree isn't worth the paper it is written on; however, the bulk of the time a college degree provides the knowledge required to begin working towards a career. While most of the people that work with me don't have a college degree; because, professional certifications are more important in the field that I work - I would still recommend a degree to any young person.

So, I guess that in your professional opinion - everything you needed to know in life you learned by the 3rd grade?
